One stadium is now under construction for the two teams
Will be in a new development called Xnadau (spelling). Still in the Meadowlands region. Actually on the same area as the current stadium
many season ticket holders are now upset. They are reducing parking this year due to the construction. So you must have a pass to parking your car when games are played one pass is issued to a person with two or four seats.
So no more meeting your boddy and friend at the stadium due to the reduced parking.

Thanks

Your comparison with the Mets & Yankees is invalid because it would take the Jets & Giants 10 years to get the use out of their stadium that the Mets & Yankees get out of their stadiums in one year.
Unless the Jets want to pay for the whole thing themselves the taxpayer should not be asked to pay for such an expensive building that gets such little use.

I recall the jets were planning on a new stadium a few years ago in downtown NYC but the idea was scrapped because it was cause too much pollution or something like that.

In order for the teams to get a new different stadium, one of them would need to to win more. Win championships, playoff game, etc. This would build a fan base, more money.

Yeah it is kind of dumb, New York Giants and New York Jets and they both share the same stadium in New Jersey.

they've been talking about that for a long time.
it'll never happen.
the Teamsters will never let Giants Stadium be torn down...otherwise, Jimmy Hoffa's whereabouts will be revealed. He was buried alive under that place in 1976 you know. The point was so that he'd never be found.
