Actually, I do like mine.
There are some steps to take to make them look better:
A. sit with your shoulders at a 45 degree angle to the camera.
B. Turn your chin straight on towards the cam
C. Wear a nice suit or shirt
D. Have you hair nicely done.
Strange as it sounds, you can get more respect in a lot of areas of society with good license picture.
In my case I look like a professional business man and even get comments on how good my license picture looks. Perception is everything so follow those steps and make a good picture!

I really don't know of anyone who likes their picture on their licence,except for the 16 year olds that first get it.And then have to explain to dear old mom and dad how they managed to get a speeding ticket on the way home the next week after.But every picture I've always had,always either looked like an extra 20 lbs. was added on,or like a mug shot you'd recieve after being escourted downtown by the police for having to much of something in your bloodstream,or like you stated about the waking up part,whichever is easier for you to call on this one.

No. I had a great one a few years ago.. My purse was stolen so I had to replace my license.One DMV clerk said they'd use my 3 month old picture if I requested it. The final clerk that I saw basically said dream on. So, no more great drivers license picture for me.

NO! My t shirt and the polo shirt were unaligned so it looks like my head is shifted to the left of my head. I have this sort of frankenstein thing going on. and, New York state has this wavy holographic line thing going through their licenses so i look even weirder. plus it was taken 4 years ago and i don't look like i'm 15 anymore.

Mine broke the camera - then they had to redo it
I had gone in to change my address - and they left the same address on then new one
*sigh*

Sure do, it makes me feel young again. Since I haven't had to get a new picture for several years and they keep using the same picture.

i dont like it, actually its not yet a license, its a permit for me to drive on the roads with a professional driver....i didnt even know that i was being shot already..and the printer was not good....you cant even tell who was on the permit

you know what, for as many pictures I've taken for all the drivers licenses I've had (moving from state to state to state,....name changes,......misplaced license), I actually like my most recent one and hated all the previous ones
