I mean really, everything in the universe seems to recycle, why would we be any different? Maybe when we die, we spread out, perhaps we are all made up of bits of people from before us? We are made up of just cells afterall...

reincarnation, the belief that souls return after death to inhabit new bodies, and perhaps other species' bodies, is not the same as cellular memory
google: altered states, and see if you can find a copy of either the book or movie, that is exactly what the story is about, cellular memories

I hope we are. I think that some people who really really believe in ghost/spirts will be on the other end of this but in some way maybe we choose this after death. This subject is one on the list of never talk about religion and politics it can go on and on. So lets hope we get to come back and relive life or make what we did wrong right. Our second change or maybe even try and try to make what we did wrong now right and try tell we get it right.

Yes I really do. I have always felt that I was Isadora Ducan in my last life. Then once, about 25 years ago, I was riding in a cream colored Chevy Vega. I was wearing this very long red scarf popular back in the Annie Hall days - and wouldnt you know it was hanging outside of the car and got wrapped around the wheel? Fortunately it tore - so history didnt repeat itself. Pax - C

I've got that nagging feeling too, for quite a long time now. What I believe in is that our soul stays as it is, it's our body that differs. But I also think that not all of us chooses to reincarnate when he/she dies. Only those who did not find that missing piece in their lives would choose to live again, hoping that in their next life, they'll find it.

People believe what they want to believe: there is no scientific evidence for reincarnation. Whatever happens to us after we die we are always part of the Universe and will always be, so in that respect we may be immortal.

I've read the advice of monks that say if you learn to meditate deeply, you can enter a state(s) of bliss called "the jhanas" that are supposed to be states of super mindfulness. They last at least an hour (you have no control on the duration) and is refered to by monks and people on meditation retreats as "blissing out" When you come out of these states, just on the cusp of emergence, supposedly you can ask yourself "what is my first memory" and then re-experience it, and then you can ask to remember further back and back etc. to remember past lives. I am not practiced enough to have gotten to a jhana but considering these monks are supposed to never lie....thats gotta be worth some weight.

of course reincarnation is real. the best description is the one with kennedy and lincoln. kindly check link below.
For me, reincarnation is real, because how else will we meet our soulmate if we are not in our perfect state of being? In our life here in Earth we have made a lot of mistakes so those mistakes needs to be balance, so we decides to reincarnate again to correct our mistakes and face the consequence. Reincarnation is real believe it.

Basically...I DON'T believe it, but then I think about Mozart who was composing concertos at the age of 7 and performing all over Europe for kings and queens by the time he was 11 and I go, "yeah...some of us are REAL old souls..." At the very LEAST I think I believe in "ancestral memory". There's a LOT of our forefathers and foremothers still cooking around inside of us and we "inherit" the things they went through, learned and experienced emotionally, professionally, psychologically or intellectually, just like we got their dimples or long feet or weak teeth or big ears or blue eyes.

I think reincarnation is a very distinct possibility. I also think that there's a good reason why we do not remember previous lives during our courant reincaration. It would be too much to handle.

i believe that anyone should belive what conforts them the most so if believing in reincarnation makes you feel good then belive it because either way we all "feel like we have one life
