Ok so i am 16 and i have a boyfriend. we are very sexually active. a week ago i got on my period. About 2 days after i got off i starting spotting only when i wiped after using the bathroom. also when i used the bathroom it burned after. im thinking thats a bladder infection maybe? And lately i have been having to go to the bathroom like every 5 or 10 minutes. does this mean something? i told my mom about it and she freaked out and said im having symptoms of being pregnant. i am always having cramps, constipation sometimes, bad headaches, moodswings like crazy, and craving food i have never wanted before. I need some help please!!

probably a UTI. Easy to cure. One of the preventions is always pee right after sex!!!

It sure sounds like a urinary tract infection. Lots of girls/women have bad cramps, lots are constipated, lots have bad headaches and every 16 year old has mood swings. If you just had your period then you are not pregnant and shame on your mother for not getting you an appointment to see the doctor. If she is worried about you getting pregnant than maybe she should do something about it. And, if she doesn't, I at least hope you are smart enough. Either way, you probably have a UTI and need an antibiotic. One more thing, don't freak out about the talk of STD, with the symptoms of burning upon urination and increase in frequentcy, it could only be about one thing.

Check with your doctor. It could be a bladder infection. Do you use birth control? You didn't say. I'm assuming not since you're freaked out about being pregnant. Check with the doc first before you panic more than what you already are. Your mom is quite bold in making that statement. Why didn't SHE take you to the doctor???
Symptoms of bladder infection:
Burning
Itching
Pain
Discomfort during urination
Urgent need to urinate
Strong or foul-smelling
Cloudy Urine
p.s. if you're not on birth control I highly recommend it so that you don't have this happen again.

Don't panic, panicking alone can bring on symptoms of all sorts of things. Just go to the Urgent Care facility of your HMO, and then you will soon know what is really going on, and start to get better. Best of luck to you.
