I think it is so shocking that I am still on the lookout to not let anybody try the same thing again.
I think that as a Christian I feel a special affinity to the Jews, since they were the source of my own religion; so genocide against the Jews may have an extra emotional shock to me, compared to genocides practiced against other groups. Though of course one person is as important as another; technically speaking, and any genocide is equally an atrocity.
