If the wind catches it - it will move it to a location we did not originally plan for it to go.
E.G. (for example) Man bought a new double wide mobile home - got it set up on a Friday - was going Monday to get all insurances in place.
On his Saturday off, he raked the leaves on his 1/3 acres property and rather than bag them, living in the country, he burned them. Gust of wind blew up and rolled the fire under his trailer. In 20 minutes, it was ground level, and he still owed every single payment for it!
Fire - burned his dreams up in smoke!
second example - in Florida, if we have woods fires every 2 years - it keep the vegetation fresh - BUT - if we have no fire for 5-7 years - there is too much undergrowth - and then we REALLY have a FIRE! - which can devestate a forest and now it will have the strength to burn trees, too.
fire can be good or bad in the same area - timing is everything

Touch it and see what happens. Just joking. DON'T GO NEAR FIRE AND DO NOT TOUCH IT.
It can damage objects and people. It can also damage the environment and destroy wildlife, which in turn can have adverse effects for us, like destroying natural resourses e.g. lumber. Thus damaging the vegetation and eco system.

fire is a chemical reaction, it turn carbon based things in carbon dioxide CO2, that is a green house gas, meaning that it could be responsible for global warming, also it is very voltile and hard to control.
