however, i do have a juvenile record but no adult record. so i was wondering if this would still be ok for me to join. I thought juvenile records were sealed after the age of 18. any answers would greatly be appreciated. thanks

You can still apply at the Police Academy and it is up to their recruitment office if you wil be accepted even when you have junvenile records.

You need to check with the academy and see if they will let you attend. Then if you do get in and graduate, you will need to check with the agency you apply with.
