Not generally... because knowledge can be obtained from many different ways now. Internet can be just as good as a book, depending on the source... WIKI can be unreliable, as people are allowed to contribute to it and there are no 100% truths... as yahoo answers can be unreliable. Theres no saying the person anwering has any real knowledge on the subject.
I enjoy reading for pleasure, that doesnt make me more or less ignorant than anyone else. Ignorance isnt just what someone "knows" or doesnt know... it also has alot to do with their acceptance and tolerance level

Not necessarily ignorant, deprived maybe ... But for some people they just can't sit still long enough to read a book. It's not always their fault. They could easily know as much as an avid reader simply by listening to other people or going on the internet :)

No. I read a lot but i dont consider someone who doesnt read as much as I do to be ignorant. They just dont enjoy reading as much as I do.

Learning and gaining things is about more than reading books. I just think its sad if you have never picked up a book.

One of my requirements for a bf is that he must read for pleasure. Not magazines, novels. No pictures. Multiple chapters.
