Yeah - I'll eat most food after the expiration date. Give it a quick glace over (though a little mould never hurt anyone. Anyhow our grandparents never had expiration dates on their food. I hate to say this but this must have satarted in the US after some-one sued (that's what usually happens) :)

Unless the bread's been kept in some impressive quarantine, my bread usually develops mold before its expiration date... I would be suspicious about it personally :/
