For example 76=?time or 208=?time i know that 208 is faster than hell but how do they measure the speed.

`The performance tempo is called out on the musical manuscript and you adjust the speed of an old 'wind up' metronome by adjusting a weight on the arm. The newer 'electronic' metronomes' adjust their speed by varying a circuit resistance through a potentiometer.
