Well its hard to decide. The person thought it wasnt a big deal to lie to you since it was minor. Which dont seem to bad. But then again it is...because if that person cant tell you the truth on something minor how can you believe that person will tell you the truth on something major. If that person will lie to you on something thats not even a big deal, dont you think he/she will lie to on something that IS big deal? If the lie was a recent one then I wouldnt trustt him/her. Now if it was a long time ago....there could be a chance that the person matured. In the end....being the kind person that I am...I think I would give that person a second chance.

Ok here is my thoughts in form of quotes

Benjamin Disraeli:
There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics. [attributed, perhaps incorrectly, by Mark Twain]

As far as minor lies or fibs

Fibbing is a Lie in progress..The lie awaits to be let out.
-- unsure who said it

And Half truths

That a lie which is half a truth is ever the blackest of lies;
That a lie which is all a lie may be met and fought with outright;
But a lie which is part a truth is a harder matter to fight.

-- Alfred Tennyson Tennyson

That depends, if just about everything or everything that comes out of this person's mouth is a lie, then absolutely not, but if it was a one time thing, I'd forgive and forget. The best of people, make mistakes, and friends, don't come easy. I'm just assuming it is a friend, but nevertheless, weigh the situation. If this person consistently lies to you, drop him or her, and fast.

No. I don't trust anyone...absolutely anyone that lies about anything. Lies are stupid to me. I just don't understand why to do it. I try not to lie about anything especially minor things...

I would talk to them about why they lied and if they give me a good reason then I would still have trust in them. If not, my trust in them would decrease a little.

I probably would be able to trust them again if it was something minor but if it was serious I couldn't trust them again. It would take time and that person would have to proof their trust to me again.

no. all it takes is one lie to lose my trust. It starts with a little lie and it only gets progressively worse.

It would be very hard to trust someone who has lied to me.

No. Especially if it was something minor... why would they lie about something so small?

nah!
fuzzy is right...
depends on the size of the person....:D
cuz if its a grown up and he/she realises that you just ignored even when he lied, then he wont be ashamed of doin it thousand times.....
if its a child then its our duty to forgive them and find ways to treach them a simpler way than makin a lie!
