Preferably middle to high school?

Yay!! Cause whenever I bring my purses (let's just say I have more than a few!) or makeup to middle school, people are always asking you why. Sooo annoying!

i used to take my backpack and purse. i would have all the purse things in the purse and my school stuff in my backpack. this was good for me when i started driving since i could just put my backpack in the trunk and take my purse with me wherever i would go. point of story not tacky a girl needs a place to have EVERYTHING she needs.

I'm in high school, and most girls have purses or totes, or some type of bag. Its kinda normal at my school. Plus, if you want to take a purse, you should, don't worry about what others say.

No its not tacky but I hate carrying any type of tote bag unless I have to go somewhere or something but I sometimes carry it but kids play too much and they hide the girl purse and things like that to me it is aggravating so I just leave it at home

i did not carry a purse until I started to drive. And even then I much preferred my wallet in my backpack.
i still do not see the point of a purse, tote, whatever. Just a place to store junk. I am very low maintenance and don't have more than cell phone, wallet, check book, lip gloss and keys with me at any given time.

Not at all. I started carrying a purse to school in 6th grade, roundabout the time it became necessary to have something to put female necessities in that I could take to the bathroom and not have everyone thinking "oh, it's that time of the month" (which is embarrassing at that age), since everyone knows girls could take their purses to the bathroom for a variety of reasons.

I completely understand how you feel. Most high school girls bring purses to school. By the time you get to high school, people will be used to you wearing it!

Not at all! I take mine everyday and im in junior high. Every girl takes a purse to school. They just add that final touch to your outfit.

Not in middle or high school but when you get to college, you'll definitely know who the freshmen girls are - the ones carrying around a backpack AND a purse. (Most girls don't carry one in college)

It is definitely not tacky. I take my purse with me EVERYWHERE! Including school!

I dont think it is tacky to bring them to school. At my school 95% of the girls bring them to school
