Even though I'm not real big on "sci-fi" I think The Matrix, Aeon Flux and Resident evil didn't have a bad wardrobe.

I admired the clothes/costumes in Star Wars: 1-3. The progression of Anakin's clothes from the belted tunic in his youth to the sweeping dark cloak of Darth Vader was interesting to watch. And the outfits for the Queen were ornate and beautiful. All the clothes had a purpose and were designed accordingly.

Good question.
As a sci-fi fan myself I wouldn't mind wearing some of the Babylon 5 suits in public. The business suits, not the really weird ones.
Aeon Flux was also pretty kewl. Star Trek had some nice looking uniforms, but only for certain episodes. The Space/Time Ship Relativity's crew had really nice uniforms.
James Bond also wore some nice suits.

I guess that depends on taste. But a few of my favorites as far as costume designs goes are:
The Man in the Iron Mask
Gone With The Wind
Memoirs of a Geisha
Titanic

I would have to say "Gone With the Wind"-all the costumes were very stylish in a timeless way.
