Oh yes. There are times when I tend to ask difficult thought provoking questions and I get an empty vacuous gaze in response.

no,not really...but I do stare at people with an empty gaze...I can't help it! If I don't like someone or get bored then my attention goes *sigh*

Trillian must have asked a guy what he wanted for dinner...I get that all the time...or when I ask him for help with the dishes...kinda looks like a deer in headlights...or a dog if you pant at them...all sorts of confused!!!

Yep, that blank stare is a common look..it's nothing to worry about..unless you're a guy and your girl is giving it to ya...then she really seriously doesn't know what to do with it...don't be mean about it..just kind of explain it to her and be understanding...we aren't born with the ability ya know!
