I have a laptop with a dvd burner. I have a LOT of pics and im trying to copy them onto the dvds. How the heck do i do this? i try to click on the pictures where it says to import them to various places, but the CD drive option is grayed out. Do i have to format them and how ? i'm not super savvy computer-wise, so take it easy on me, please :) .

First, ( I Know This Sounds Silly But,) Your Drive DOES Burn DVD's? Some Drives Burn CD's And Only READ(Play) DVD's If This Is Not The Problem, Then you Need A Program That Will Burn Multiple Format Discs (DVD Video, DVD Music , DVD Data, Ect.) Most Programs Will ONLY Burn A DVD Video. (Adaptec EZ Media (CD/DVD) Creator OR NERO® For PC And Roxio TOAST For Mac)

I put a cd in my dvd burner, go to My Pictures, open the folder by double clicking on it until I see the picture I want. Then I click on the photo, look to the left where it says Copy to CD, and click on it. Wait a second or so, and a window should open up allowing you to name it, and click ok. If this doesn't work, come back here, and post again.

DVD/CD-RW is maximum probabally a DVD participant and purely a CD Burner. meaning it may play DVDs and CDs yet purely burn (create) CDs. And as for what variety of CDs to apply it relies upon on what you employ them for. in case you have the prefer to make a CD which may well be performed on exceptionally much any CD participant use CD-Rs (+ or -) does not matter. in case you have the prefer to make a archives backup which you would be able to delete archives from and upload to while ever you prefer to apply CD-RWs. in case you should any extent further questions be at liberty to touch me on IM or digital mail.

very hard ? to answer "briefly"...best thing for a beginner would be to purchase nero burning software and install it....it has a built in tutorial that you can follow....

ask salesperson to help you....you can go to best buy or staples or circuit city etc.....they should all have it.
