I really wish some network would host such a thing. I would like to get a feel for how intelligent and knowledgable the candidates are. What do you think it would take to get that to happen?

A few years ago, in a debate between two candidates for Senate in Colorado, Peter Coors (of brewery fame and the republican candidate) responded to a question about NAFTA and the thoughts of Paul Martin by stating that he had no idea who Paul Martin was, nor did he care.

Paul Martin, of course, was the Prime Minister of our closest neighbor and friend, Canada. Pete Coors thought he could be in the Senate of the USA without knowing the Prime Minister of Canada.

Now Pete sits on the board of Molson Coors - do you think he knows who Stephen Harper is?

Yes - there should be a test.

an intelligent president? i don't think so. we haven't had one in this century at least. i have the opinion only a crazy person would want to inherit this country's messes in 2008.

No, but I wish they would have a test about the U.S. Constitution that everyone had to pass before they they are allowed to vote.

You might want to include grammar, diction and comprehension questions as well.
