I didn;t want them to go in the first place. I want them home.
they do an awful, terrible job under arduous circumstances, merely to make Dubya look "good"

Yeah well, one thing though, you can give me all the thumbs down you want, this is to inform those who may not realize the truth of what's going on here. The troops could get out of the situation they are in, but they choose not to. I know someone that left the military early because they no longer agreed with what they were being ordered to do. He could no longer do his "job" due to the severe conflict with his strong moral values and with what he was sworn to do. The military swears to defend the Constitution, but if they objectively looked at what they are doing in Iraq, and many other circumstances, they would see they are not defending it in any way. By serving under the gov't of now and for many past decades, they are not defending it. First you must read and understand the Constitution, all Americans should read and understand it, (I believe it is un-American not to do this). Then you will see what part of the problem is with this war, and many other crimes our gov't commits. So as you can gather I obviousy don't support the war in Iraq, I don't know if I can say I truly support the troops, it would be more my hope that they see the true, full scope of what is going on around them, why it is they are part of something that is killing innocent people for the gains of others who could care less about them or their families. I really wish people in this country would wake up, we are sending our own people off to potentially die (among a ton of other potential problems), and we are losing our country and freedoms every single day because of people's indifference.

The important thing is that you support the troops. I applaud that.
I have a dear friend of mine going over there for his 3rd time this fall. His job is driving in Convoys, all the time. Not good.
Anyways, I don't know how I feel about this war. I don't completely understand it. But, we all agree we want are guys and girls to be safe and to be home as soon as they can.

"I love our country, but I dont think the war is being handled properly, and I dont support some of our actions."
Yep.
Supporting the troops, to me, means doing whatever it takes to ensure that they come out of this mess alive, and I don't think the government's truly interested in doing that. More people are getting killed every day, and for what? It's not un-American in any way to hope that your fellow Americans come home alive.

I agree with you SO much! I do support the troops but not the war. Some people say if you are against the war you are anti-American but that's so not true! I love my country and I love the courageous of people such as your husband that fight everyday to keep us safe. Good luck & blessings to you and your family!

it incredibly is not help or loss of help for the two the warfare or the troops, that form of communicate is political rhetoric, all human beings help our vets, a minimum of with words. it incredibly is each and each individual protester's very own rejection of the horror of seeing a 19 year previous quadruple amputee or a grieving team of pre college babies being consoled by utilising a youthful widow. Any actual looking individual will instinctually experience the ought to quit such tragedy. it incredibly is deeper that in simple terms ethical outrage. They experience no longer putting our troops in harms way "is" helping the troops. they do no longer comprehend that their is not any secure place yet, and that the battlefield ought to o.k. come to them, if we don't pass to the conflict container. Any actual looking individual needs to end something that makes them experience that way. they are able to't end the warfare or the lack of self belief it brings to them so as that they protest their very own lack of ability to result the placement by utilising protesting the warfare or those working it. psychological discomfort is as actual as actual. no one needs to make sure squaddies coming abode in physique bags. the sentiments generated from such activities result protesters on a private point and tension them to do what they do whether that action seems ineffective or illogical. Their reasons are not completely simply by fact of ethical outrage at a social injustice, there's a psychological and workers explanation for the habit as properly. they do no longer in common terms like the sentiments the media photos generate in them, so as that they attempt and make themselves experience extra effective by utilising protesting what's out of their conrol.

Ain't No Beatin' 'Round This... BUSH
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pack a knap sack
Full of distributor caps.
Get our *** back
Out of Iraq.
Bring our boys back!
Bring our girls back, too!
Leave all the tanks and
Run the tires off the Hummers
'Cause money ain't ****.
It ain't nothin' but numbers.
I still don't understand
Why we "played" in the sand!
Bein' led by the nuts
In the hand
Of a maniacal man.
I didn't vote for him
And you didn't neither!
Now he's "the uniter",
"The decider",
Hell, he's a Jim Jones Preacher!
Sip from this cup, "my little pretties"
And the spell you're under...
Is nothin' but misery!
Did you count the dead?
Did you count the living?
Did you count the weak?
Did you count the willing?
I've heard the same damned song
For the last five years
And I wrote my rhyme
Just to state my fears.
We're in so far---
Over our head,
But the bodies are real
And over 3000 dead!
They say they're gonna send
20,000 more men.
He can call it a "surge",
But when he sends "the twins"
So their *** defends us---
I'll say he's on the verge
Of a brand--new--plan.
I see his **** eating grin
Everyday on CNN
And he makes me want to PUKE!
Now he's hollerin' about
A new war on IRAN
Lord, I hope he doesn't NUKE!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I AM THE MAINTRAIN!!!

I totally agree with you & Rosie too. I have 2 loved ones in Iraq myself. Until a person feels this pain personally, it's hard for them to relate to it. God be with your family & our troops :)

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I served 24 years in the military, and i agree 1000%. if i don't support bushdick, that does not make me unamerican. bushdick, cheney, rice and rumsfeld should all be tried as war criminals, but that is a different rant. i was in situations i didn't agree with, and would not have gotten into voluntarily, but if you are serving, you serve. doesn't mean you have to like it. fantastic question!
