I know there are a ton of Cena haters, but please try not to bash him too much. Cena has reverted back to his jean shorts and no longer wears camo. Do you think he is done with the whole Marine gimmick? If so, is he trying to gradually revert back to the days of the Dr. of Thugonomics and possibly turn heel when Triple H returns? Or is he just kinda stuck in limbo basically being the Marine/himself?

Cena getting the uber push definitely ruined him as a credible wrestler. The fact he has no real moves or diveristy in the ring other than "I big strong guy ug *pounds chest*" moves, Vince has him as the franchise guy. I just hope he can get better because pretty soon even his good looks won't be able to keep me as a fan.

this is very E-Z, they went to the marine persona to continue his development as he is still very green as a wrestler and thrives off of persona.kinda like hogan no skill but lots of entertainment, cena has athletic ability though so the potential is there. i have never seen a face or good guy that got booed so much, so ditching the white rapper thug crap in turn rejuvinated his populariy. the flavor of the week is the soildgers so as many star wrestlers good or bad the wwe will play on what is popular or unpopular at the time.(look at sgt slaghter, he was the all american then switched to helping the sheik who was middle eastern and then the war escalated, and his charachter became so damaged he was forced out of the show untill later when people forgot that he turned to that side). so you basicaly got it right, hes gonna be stuck in between but will never go back to the originall character, but you never know when or if wwe will change his persona. But i dont think he will go heel anytime soon because like it or not, and i am a cena hater, he is the face of that company

I think he left the Marine stuff behind. His gimmick didn't change. He's still the same superhero type of guy. I'm not hating on him, that's just the way it is. He won't turn heel any time soon. Triple H wouldn't take on Cena as a heel, he'd be afraid of being shown up.
Have you noticed the last 5 PPVs all ended the same way? Not just the same outcome (Cena defies all odds and retains the title), but the same camera shot. As the copyright notice comes up in the corner, Cena is always standing with the belt raised above his head in the middle of the ring breathing really hard like he just did something no one expected him to.

His new gimmick is Superman. Superman wears a blue costume just like cena wears blue shorts. Superman is the fakest hero in the world like cena is the fakest wrestler in the world, and, they both get dominated by their opponents for about 95% of the time then, miracoulously, overcome the odds.
