Most of the chemical supply companies are very nervous about selling chemicals to individuals because there are so many nitwits out there making bombs or drugs. Because potassium nitrate is an ingrediant in gunpowder they will be particularly reluctant to sell it to you. This is kind of silly because you can buy both black powder and smokeless powder at gun shops that carry reloading supplies!
