without tiki, alot will be put on eli's shoulders.its time for him to step up and become a leader on this team.i can see this team being 10-6 or 6-10...eli will have alot to do with which way they go.but he has some weapons, the defense should be better.i'm predicting they get a wild card position.

It all comes down to Eli. Tiki is gone, so the Giants lose their best player. I think Eli will have a breakout year, but everyone just has to remember that he is not Peyton, but he will still be a very good starting QB. If Dave Diehl can make the switch to left tackle, it will be a big plus. The Giants were killed by injuries last season, so it will help if they stay healthy.
Eli also needs help from his receivers and if Sinorice Moss can improve, he will have a great deep threat to go along with Burress and Shockey.
The defense will be great. The Giants will have Strahan and Umenyiora healthy and are moving Kiwanunka to linebacker. They'll have a great pass rush, something that as missing last season.
The Giants will be at least a solid team this year, but Eli could make them very good. I still think Philly is the frontrunner, but you never know.

I think the Giants are in serious danger of finishing last in the NFC East. I think the Cowboys and Eagles are clearly the two best teams in the division, and I think the Giants and improved Redskins will be duking it out for 3rd place. I think the Giants are still a slightly better team than the Redskins though. What can I say, the Giants just have the misfortune of playing in the toughest division in the NFC.
Eli Manning just doesn't deserve all of his hype, because he doesn't seem to be improving as a passer. He has big, talented targets in Burress and Shockey, but he doesn't seem to be able to take advantage. I think Eli will have an exact repeat of his season last year.

Eli will be even worse without Tiki as hard as that is to belive. If he didn't have a skyscraper in Plaxico to throw to he would be so terrible it would boggle your mind.
If I had to guess it would be the Eagles. They did very well without their best player (McNabb) so just think if they had him.The Giants don't stand a chance this year, sorry.

if eli continues to grow, i dont see them doing poorly.. however, if they make the playoffs it will be a wildcard, seeing how the eagles will regain the NFC east

their protection wasn't getting the consistent tension on QBs, or turnovers that it did in 2008. I doubt it had to do with the categorised classified ads even although they are notably irritating.
