I just graduated high school and am heading off to college. Ive always wanted to be frat boy and i got a couple bids and stuff. recently...i just went to vegas...and i saw the most beaauuuttttiiiifffuuuullll girl. i started to talk to her...turned out she is a topless dancer, married, with 3 babies, and a beautiful family.

I realized that i really want to succeed and do well in my life...marry someone beautiful...who wants to raise a beautiful family with me...all of sudden...the frat life is not as appealling to me but i still want to have party and have fun.

should i join one?

You should, just to avail yourself of the experience

Why spend all that money on college if you are just going to party and have fun. You can do that without higher education. However a fraternity has the power to help you out later in life in alot of career's. I would choose a fraternity that has a strong history of networking and a closeness to alumni. And btw, a mother who has to work as a topless dancer is not showing any kind of self respect or respect for her family. Might sound old fashion, but is it what you would want your mother, sister or wife to be doing?

It sounds like your heart is telling you what you should really do... I don't think Fraternitys are bad, but if you are seriously looking toward finding a strong, meaningful relationship, I don't think that you are going to find one while you're playing "Frat Boy". So...either you join the Frat and just put your other dreams on hold until you're out of school, or you don't join and work toward meeting a girl who you can spend the rest of your life with. It's up to you.

The topless dancers will always be there.

Your time and young age will not . You only need about four years of your youth.

You have already tasted some of the wild fun.

Thats stuff will never change and when you finish, you can always find that junk, and not have to worry about education later.

School rocks. Cry now, smile later.

Yes go to college, party, study - be a student. You have the rest of your life to do that other stuff. If you get an education first so that you have a successful career, the rest of your life with your gorgeous wife and kids will be a much happier, more enjoyable place for you all!

frats are overrated. people seem to think that you aren't cool if you're not in a frat. i personally would never date a frat boy. you should have to pay for friends. in the long run, being in a frat gets you no where.

Yeah dude join but don't get totally stupid about it. Have fun but remember you want to actually get an education and make a better life for yourself and one day a family. So have fun but don't let it interfere with school dude.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to have fun, you can have fun and get a good education. Just remember to have l balance and learn how to priorities things. School first, party second.
