Yes, a doctor should be able to tell with an internal exam if you are preganant by 4 months (they can actually tell much earlier than that). They could do an external exam to hear the heartbeat by 4 months, but I'm sure most doctors would do an internal exam to be sure. Unfortunatley, bc is not 100% effective (mother of a suprise baby #2).

honey if you are 4 months you would most likely know! you should be showing and be really tired and sick to your stomache not being able to eat all of that pregnancy stuff. i knew I was pregnant at 5 weeks. If you think you are take a test right away and get to your doctor. a pee test will show by now. you need prenatal care, you should start taking care of that baby asap. alot of things can happen and be prevented. not something to wait on. find out for yourself! if your not prego never wait that long again! the most you should wait is 2 months maybe after a missed period. better to be safe than sorry!

the doctor can tell if you are pregnant at 4 months along, yes. They can tell by feeling your uterus. The uterus will fill and empty every month (empty when you get your period). So when you are a week late, your uterus is bigger. At 6 weeks late, they can feel it and see that you are 6 weeks along. My doctor confirmed how far along I was at 5 1/2 weeks.. I though I might be another month ahead. He felt and said I am around the 5 week mark. At 4 months your uterus would be way bigger if you are pregnant and would already be above your pelvis line. So yes

Yes, the doctor would be able to tell at four months, but through a blood test would be the most effective.

Yes indeed a physical exam will definately be conclusive. But you can also take a home pregnancy exam before going to the doctor.

They would be able to tell you are pregnant from the firmness of your uterus, the color changes in your vagina and cervix. They could only make an educated guess at how far along you are.

Yes, your uterus would be growing & your cervix actually changes colors during pregnancy.
But, if you aren't on birth control the chances are less than .3% that you're pregnant as long as you've been taking your pills correctly.
