laptop blues... please help!!!?

i just got a new lap top for graduation (HP Pavilion) and i also bought a roughter so that i can use the internet conection i have on my other compuer. but every 3 min a pop up comes up saying that i must connect because i am working off line. my internet is workng fine but i want that stupid pop up to stop coming up... what should i do?

hmm, it may be that ur system does go offline just just for that microseccond... Id run Pc doctor and test it! also try pinging 161.170.244.20


It is Walmarts IP. if that works for 3+ mins or so and you dont have any problems then ur setup may be set wrong
