To convert degrees to radians, multiply by π / 180. Notice for 360 this gives you 2π.

If you ever forget the formula, just think of what you'd need to multiply 360 by to get 2π, or what to multiply 180 by to get π. Degrees and radians are both ways to measure fractions of a circle, so multiplying by one number is all you need to convert one fraction to another.

360 degrees is 2 Pi radians
so 30 degrees is 30 * 2 * Pi / 360 or 30 Pi / 180 = 1/6 Pi
or degrees divided by 180.
