I'm going to Florida with my fiance and his family at the end of June and I need a new swimsuit but have NO idea what kind would look best on me. I'm about 5'5, weigh around 150, and am a D cup. I have a little bit of a tummy which I want to cover as much as possible....help please!!

Are you curvy or bosomy? NO triangle tops!
A halter top one, two piece, or bikini will provide support.
Be sure the band on bottom of bra is wide.
Probably best would be a halter top tankini, to provide support and coverage. If you are going in the water a lot, maybe get two - the tankini and a bra sized one-or-two piece Pick a color you look great in, not what is in style.
Don't forget comfy beach shoes.

Full tummies are best disguised by a one-piece that has a "wrap" look on the front, even better if it has a ruching effect.

You need to have a main attraction of the suit or else it will look like a blob. If you would like to accentuate your bust, get something with a lighter color or design up top; if you have great hips/bottom/legs, get the lighter color or design down below.

I doubt you are a size 16, but here is something to get your gears turning:

The princess seams "break" the tummy into long, vertical sections and give a slimming effect, while the print gives visual interest and steers clear of the dreaded navy or black Maw-maw suit.

Here's another hot number that has a plunge halter top to showcase your bosom, and red is always spicy:

Whatever you do, DON'T GET A SKIRT! Ugh I hate skirted bathing suits.

You should get a tankini or a one peice depending on your style and what you like. One peices are more in style this year compared to last year but i perfer tankinis x] Some good supportive swimsuits are at Victoias Secrets.

Good luck and have fun!

I have a large cup size as well and I have pretty good luck with Victoria's Secret Tankinis. They offer support and many of them are not that revealing. It is the Semi-Annual Sale, so you may be able to get one pretty cheap.

a halter tankini would be best. it will cover your tummy and give the girls some support. you can also get the bottoms as a boy short if you are self-conscious about your legs, but regular bikini bottoms look cute too.

Try Land's End.

Fig Leaf online.

Venus Swimwear.

Also Family Circle and Good housekeeping magazines show body structure, and bathing suits that are good on your body. Look on back issues to get idea.

I would say that a one piece swim suit with a halter would look good on you. maybe a tankini will do too.

Bandeau tops and halter tops seem stable for smaller chested human beings. the only situation with bandeau's are that many times they make your breast seem squashed down and flatter.
