. I am going to stress to my Principal that I really enjoyed my stay here, and she has been the best Principal that one can imagine.

2. I am going to let her know my decision to take a career opportunity that I could not turn down. I was not looking, but it came my way. And to thank her and find out what i needed to do.

3. How will my Principal, who really likes me, react? Thanks.

Don't worry. She should be happy for you. Everyone moves on

She probably wont like it. Leaving school is kind of a bigger deal than some take it for. Wether she understands how much she means to you or not, she will indeed disagree, but in no wise could ever hate you or give you the silent treatment.
I'm not saying I completely agree with your decision(like I know the details) Not saying I need to. But to me an education is HUGE. Anyway, good luck!

As long as you describe your situation the way you say you are going to, any great principal would be understanding and accepting. You want to work for someone who cares about you more than they care about themselves. If you have felt this strongly about him/her the whole time then they will be happy for you. Or they should be. :-) Good Luck!

She'll be proud of you and encourage you to go for it, if she's a caring principal.
