I know that this seems like a stupid question but I really don't know how. I can accept. I can let go but I always remember and a "snapshot" of the pain is always there. I can and do place myself in the other person's shoes to try and understand why...this helps alot in letting go. Why is how do you learn forgive...is forgiveness overrated? such a big deal ? Does how do you learn forgive...is forgiveness overrated? and love really make resentment go away?

forgiveness is different than forgetting. you can forgive and never forget what bad things happened to you.

Oh my goodness, good question! You will always remember, and the pain will always be there. If the person you want to or have forgiven is also sorry it happened, it is up to them to act in a way to make it easy for you to forgive them. If you really love each other still, time will help heal the wound, but during this healing process, things have to be gentle and quiet and peaceful.. no more wounding ..
Once you get over this, do not bring it up again. Do not think about it again, concentrate on the future of your relationship.

Underrated. extra human beings could ask truly for forgiveness. Too a lot of human beings pass around protecting grudges. Why won't be able to issues be like as quickly as we've been young babies and forgot so incredibly? it incredibly is to no longer say all issues are forgivable.
