Drink two or three cups of strong black coffee, first thing in the morning before eating. That should do the trick.

eat a LOT of fruit (raisins or grapes are good). green tea can be helpful depending on how bad your case is... a REALLY good one (and cheap) is to just go to a natural food store (or that section in your grocery store) and buy a small bag of Ground Flax Seed - MUST BE GROUND! (to benefit from the oils) and take up to 2 tablespoons, put it on a piece or two of bread with peanut butter or in your oatmeal... and guaranteed you will have success! Eat a lot of fiber too (google search good options to fiber rich foods) for maintenance!

1/4 to 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon juice in a cup of warm water. I got this remedy from my weight loss program centre. Sometimes we need a little natural help when we cut back because we may not be getting quite enough fats to get things...'er...rolling!

get some ascorbic acid: it is powdered vitamin C. experiment around with what works best for you.
I use 1/2 tablespoon twice a day. I'm pretty constipated, so you may not need as much

Make a homemade glass of juice: about 8 oz. juice and 1 rounded tsp. of Fibersure. Can't taste the stuff at all..... My 8-year-old has it every morning. (She gets 1/2 tsp, and adults get 1 tsp.)
