I keep getting in a situation when I have to have a good comeback but I don't so I end up losing the fight. Please help me so I don't get caught in this situation again.

The best defense is a best offense. Fire back a question that turns the situation back on the other person. For example, if they say, "You're such a jerk," you respond, "Why do you say that? Give me some examples." Suddenly they are put in a position of justifying their position, which throws them off-balance and puts you in the power position.

Most of the time, when one tries to use comebacks, they end up looking real immature. Sorry, but it's true. There was this one kid, who was kind of incredibly competitive and mean, anyway. I have no life, so I would actually take the time and make up comebacks. Write them down. Recite them in the mirror. And come to think of it. They were LAME. If someones being a jerk, all you have to do is smile and say "See you later!" or something stupid yet perky like that. They will indeed be dumbfounded but at least you didn't sink to their level.

The comeback completely depends on the situation, but normaly a comback that works in every situation is sarcasm. Someone calls you fat. you just sarcastically smile and say o yeah, i'm a totalll whale. Just so they know that what they said didnt really affect you at all. You making a joke of it will drive them crazyy. But there aren't many win all comebacks. it all depends on situation.

Instead of losing the fight make it a joke! Be silly and use comebacks that make no since... for example, stinky breath, ugly face, you dummy, and dumb stuff like that! It shows you have a sense of humor and it wont be nearly as embaressing as if you lose a fight actually trying! Lol, hope it works out for ya! :)

Excuse me that is not the way to talk to me.
Silence.
Turn and walk away.
I chose the first one b/c it is the more adult way and you are letting the person know that you are not to be treated poorly.
Don't get into a pissing contest b/c you will just end up with a wet leg.

I can't really help you. The best comebacks, just like jokes, are not rehearsed. They just come to you in the moment. You either have the quick wit or you don't.

Take a wooden board with a nail sticking out of the end and bash them in the head. That one usually works out pretty well. If not, I just say "your face" or "your mom" if I don't have anything better to say.

It really depends on the situation.

But a good smart alec rule of thumb is to answer a question with a question.

How about just losing the fight and being the grown up?
