Yes. Someone from work was doing more than flirting with me for a long time. I had no interest in her but didn't have the heart to tell her that. So I made up a girlfriend I've been seeing for a while. She turned out to want to be friends and meet this girl. It took me over a year to find someone to pretend to be this girl.
