Does anyone here come to P&S in the daytime too? Early morning?

Catfish are the most resilient of the non-exotic game fish, so they literally can be found anywhere in the lake or river. Typically, the deep water is better because the carrion and vegetation the cats feed on typically follows the law of gravity and drudges towards the lower points in the water. Catfish also are not as quick as bass and other game fish, so they are somewhat likely to avoid the shallower areas where birds, aquatic rodents, raccoons, and other predators are more likely to strike. I agree with the the posters above about needing to be at least 10' or deeper. I also agree with them about structures. I've caught good cats near docks, bridges, and damn areas - probably also because their food probably comes to a stop in those places.

I don't have time to come to Y/A in the early morning. Sometimes I'll sneak into Y/A during the day at work, but not for long. I don't want to get caught online at the office.

I'm an early morning and late nighter. I work 11:15 am to 8:30 pm, so I'm on before and after. (I live in Texas)

I'm here in the morning, very early sometimes. Depends on my schedule. I love it 24/7 though!
