I know what you mean. For the Beatles songs, I like to substitute the word DRUGS whenever they sing the word LOVE. "All You Need Is Drugs", "Can't Buy Me Drugs", and "You've Got To Hide Your Drugs Away".

I have music going through my head all the time. I don't tend to change the words, but I'll try to sing the song quietly to myself. Sometimes, even, the song playing will change to something new in the middle of the previous one.

I get songs stuck in my head too at times, worst of all, I don't even realise it sometimes.
I only change the words when I'm relating it to what I'm feeling or going thru that day.
