I'm building a new house, and I'm going to name it "The Catnest". I'm going to inscribe the name right on the steps.
Has anyone else here named his house? What did you name it?

I live in an apartment, so naming #2 would be pointless. I've always loved the idea of naming your home, though. You know, the Amityville Horror house was called "High Hopes".

I named my inlaws house Vatican II (it's 6,000 square feet with a chapel on a road named fora popular saint) Their previous house was Laurel on Severn. I love the post civil wat idea of naming houses.
We're building a new home...the model we selected is called the Willow and it will be on Cherry Lane I might do something along those lines.
