A common problem.
You could try the herb feverfew, available in capsule form in health food stores (it helps with migraines regardless of the cause).
Also limit your processed sugars, especially chocolate (which is a known migraine trigger). Also cut back on red wine, tomatoes, eggplant, and mushrooms (again, all possible migraine triggers).
Increase fresh fruits and vegetables, limit the fats and starches.
A good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement can help, as well as black cohosh with soy bioflavinoids supplements.

It sounds like symptoms of PMS and certainly hormones probably has a lot to do with it. Have you tried over-the-counter pain-relievers such as Aleve 550 mg twice a day or Motrin (ibuprofen) 600 mg twice a day for the cramps and headache, especially if you automatically start them 1 week before your period and stop taking them after 2-3 days of your period? Also, maintaining a healthy diet especially with fiber, dairy, and protein, and also avoiding high sodium foods and caffeine, and then doing lots of cardio exercise, espeically a few weeks before your period is always good and may prevent the symptoms from occuring. If nothing works, you may have to talk to you doctor about getting a prescription for birth control medications which helps control your hormone levels. Some are even made to decrease the number of periods, and thus also a decrease in PMS symptoms.

It sounds like it is time to talk to the GYN doc. He might recommend that you have a check-up to make sure it is not something more serious wrong. But I have heard of migraines before periods. To ease the cramps, ibuprofen or tylenol might help and a heating pad on the tummy might help some too. But your doc can give a prescript for your problems I think. Only way to find out is to call.

Headaches & migraines can happen during hormone fluctuations. Try drinking more water. You may find it minimizes your migraines. It helped me. More than half of headaches are caused by dehydration.

I can tell from experience that the older I get, the worse my periods have gotten. I have found that if I exercise on a regular basis, the pain is not as bad. I also take birthcontrol pills to ease my experience.
