"Safety Wire" Pliers

2007-06-05 15:32:57 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

What Mikld said, "safety wire pliers", makes quick work of installing safety wire, which is usually used to keep specially drilled nuts and bolts from turning loose.

Though I was taught that they are not approved for aircraft use, so its a hotrod thing. I recon they crush the wire slightly, we had to do all aircraft bolts by hand.

Probably on Valentine's Day when my hubby gave me candy, flowers and a kiss. *GG Has been under the weather since then and thus has had no serious kissy-kissy action in a while because operations make you grumpy!* ;) Thank you for asking. Hopes it's been better than that for you! ♥
