Have you ever used a sock for anything other than its intended purpose?

The sock has many purposes:

-It can be used to wear over the hands in the form of a puppet
-Additionally, it can be worn over the hands to keep them warm in the event that no mittens or gloves are available
-The sock also makes a great casing for a potpourri bag. You can stuff it up with sweet-smelling potpourri and place it in a drawer to keep your undergarments smelling fresh!
-The sock is also a suitable beanbag if you fill it with tiny beads or even beans and sew it closed
-It can also become a Christmas ornament if you paint a santa face on it.

Oh the many uses of the common sock!

I have used a sock to dust with. I'd be too scared of getting the sock stuck inside of me to ever have my man put one on like that. Plus I once saw a woman on a tv show that got a sponge stuck in her that bacteria and bad stuff was going to stick to. I would think a sock in me would be the same way.

matter of fact I have... poured a bag of rice into an old tube sock to make a hot pack with. heat the sock/rice for 2 minutes in a microwave...whola! instant ice pack... for 33 cents you can use over and over.

Yes I have.When I was a teen I used to use socks to huff glue.
