First of all they are making a remake of Last house on the left it comes out in 2008, and they did a remake of "The Shinning" it was made for t.v.
I would love someone to do a remake of Steven King's Silver Bullet. I remember seeing it back when I was 15-16. I watched it at 3 in the morning. The way technology is now they would be able to make it even more realistic. I know that this most likely won't be a popular choice but if you saw the movie and with all the remakes they have already made there aren't many choices to make anymore.

None... They have already tried over and over again to remake old horror movies and all of the remakes are horrible. It's really sad that the writers cant come up with any good ideas of their own.
There hasn't been a decent horror movie for years. The only ones that are even close to being decent are the Chinese horror films, and most of them were remade here in the US and still arent as good as the originals.

Also, there is no possible way to remake The Shining any better than it was done the first time. The remake of it was completely horrible.

None. I *hate* remakes even more than I hate 99% of sequels. They *never fail* to demolish the originals. Looking at what was done to the original "Wicker Man" from 1973 makes me sick, and Gus Van Sant should have been shot for the lameass color remake of "Psycho". The Shining's already been made twice, Rosemary's Baby is a classic that should be left alone, and the Last House on the Left was terrible to begin with.

A remake of "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?" would be interesting, I'd love to see who'd they cast for the parts. The original movie is still scary, even seeing it today. I would love to see a remake of "A Nightmare of Elm Street," although don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first movie with Robert Englund and Johnny Depp.

I did like the remake of The Shining when it came out. I would like to see a remake of "Children of the Corn," and "Poltergeist," although they may be doing a remake of that, and I'm unaware.

...just how far back have we seen the last real good man-eating plant movie??? (...besides the Roger Cormen produced "Little Shop of Horrors", or it's contemporary musical remake). With the advent of today's great CGI effects, I think that it is time, and I think we are ready for a remake of the 1962 schlock horror classic, "THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS"; however, it should be done on the level and calibur of movies like "Independence Day" or "Armageddon", but still mantain the campy schlock-iness of the original film.

I propose an upgrade here, folks!!!

...heck, look at the original poster of the film!!! Even THAT cries out for reinvention!!!

Two cheesy 70's made for TV movies "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" with Kim Darby & Jim Hutton (it scared the crap out of me as a kid) and "The Spell". I'd also like to see a remake of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" but you can get in trouble when you start messing with the classics.

I liked the miniseries remake of The Shining just because it followed King's book more closely even though they left a few things out & softened it quite a bit for TV. I didn't care for Shelley Duvall as Wendy in the theatrical release, I just kept thinking of her as Olive Oyl.

I agree with you on "Rosemary's Baby" - but there was already a lame remake of The Shining (made for TV). I'd like to see "An American Werewolf in London" redone - the graphics could use updated CGI effects!

Maybe it's time for a remake of "The Exorcist". At the time I saw it, it was the only movie that ever really gave me chills.

The Sentinel...that would be great updated. The original was a tacky 70's movie but still scary.
