what is this crap? If you want to seriously discuss such stuff you are at the wrong place ... this place here is about astronomy and space, not about para-stuff

Ghost hunters on the scifi channel have many convincing picture of shadow beings. The problem is they have detected shadow people that later they were able to show were not anything supernatural. They have found an easy way to create these shadows is one person with the IR light source is behind another investigator. Their eyes see no shadow but the wall in front of them have an invisible Infrared shadow that the camera picks up.
These guys have some credibility in that they try to duplicate the results their camera sees and try to explain it as non-supernatuaral. BUT, they are not camera experts and one of the cornerstones of the scientific method is repeatability. Other investigators are not as careful as the TAPS group and so the repeatability is lost in this tiny but growing branch of science.
The answer is there is plenty of anecdotal and even photographic evidence such beings might exist. The truth is it will never be proven until scientific labs take careful measurements that can be repeated EVERYTIME the circumstances are the same.
If the guys at TAPS find that, say for example, when the pressure drops five millibars and the temperature drops 4 degrees C, and you use this type of detector, you will see the image of a shadow being.
Now another lab repeats that experiment and they start seeing shadow beings. Now, you have some proof to show the world.
A good rule of thumb is be open to new information BUT, be skeptical until the scientific method is applied and repeatability is demonstrated by people who have no vested interest in the original research.
I agree with others that askers should be more careful where they ask their questions.

Boy, at last I have found someone who also sees these weird shadow people. I thought I was maybe going out of my mind or chewing to much cactus leaf. It sure is good to know that others can see these people also. Only last night a bunch of them gathered downstairs in my kitchen to have a party while I was trying to sleep. I only got rid of them by turning on all of the lights in the house, and jacking the hi-fi volume all the way up to maximum to drown out their noise.
Sometimes I come home early from work (You know, head ache, or something) and find that they have been into my refrigertator and pantry while I was at work. This really ticks me off and costs me money. A friend of mine suggested placing garlick all over the kitchen and in the refrigerator, but that does not seem to help much.
Next week I plan to begin making big wooden crosses and sticking them all over the yard to try and drive them away from my property. I really would like them to mess with some of my stupid neighbors and just leave me alone completely. Maybe that will do the job.

I have been provided that comparable e mail verbatim a pair of 365 days in the past from a girl i be attentive to in long island. I in the present day texted her to make sure if it became into real and, marvel, it incredibly is a phony. So enable Stephen rot in Lagos, the place he in all probability is sitting in an internet cafe hacking real peoples' money owed and sending that e mail to all and sundry of their contacts. besides the fact that it may desire to artwork a minimum of a million in a hundred,000 cases or they could arise with a clean scam. there are multiple scams available, many are very available (this one isn't).

You can't see them directly, the wavelength of light they reflect is not easily detected by human eyes. You can only really see them with what astronomers call "averted vision", when you look at something by looking off to the side (the rods at the sides of the retina are more sensitive to low light than when we look directly at something).
I don't think there is an official label or name for them, because they aren't detectable with normal sensors or equipment. And they probably only notice us the same way we notice them, out of the corner of their eyes.
So maybe we're the shadow people (we are to them anyway).
