some cars inprint that on the drivers side door,,maybe on a sticker,,most of it looks like gibberish on the door stickers,but that info can help mechanics alot.

Look on your tire and it will have a number like P225/60R16. According to Kelly Blue Book.com, this is the size tire your car comes with, but check the tire to be sure. Anyway, the number breaks down like this:
P225 - size of the actual tire
60R - width of the tires tread (the R stands for radial)
16 - size in inches of your rims/wheels

They have a book with the recommended tires of every car that is made and also old cars.
