Please just answer this if you know. I don't want to hear about how he's gay or how their band sucks I just want my question answered. I really like their music but he seems sort of arrogant and I was just wondering if this was true? Its really hard for me to like a band when they think they are better then everyone else so this is important to me.

I've met him four times and I can say without a doubt that he is one of the sweetest boys on earth. Sure, sometimes he gets a little distracted/sidetracked/unfocused and it might seem like he's ignoring people, or he'll be sarcastic and joking and people will take offense. He doesn't do this on purpose and genuinely feels bad when people take it the wrong way. So no, he's absolutely not arrogant OR a jerk.

His personality seems good, from what interviews I've seen. Oh, occasionally he'll be out of it, or too hyper, but he's not used to the fame, you can't expect him to be happy about it all the time. As far as thinking he's great, he definately never says anything like that; when asked, he always insists he sucks live, and all the members of the band are quick to criticize their own work. In fact, they admit their faults in their actions as much as their words, both Ryan and Brendon have taken voice lessons, and other instrument lessons, even after they became famous, so they've worked to improve themselves despite their quick rise to fame.
The thing is, to me none of this seems to matter much as far as the music is concerned anyway. The lead singer of The Killers, Brandon Flowers, has always said some pretty idiotic things, constantly critiquing other bands (including PATD and Green Day) and even said that Sam's Town, his own album, is "one of the best albums of the last twenty years". But I still love the music the band creates, even if I don't think much of his attitude. Try your best to separate the artist from the art, if you can; you don't want to miss out on something you might really like. As far as PATD goes, you probably shouldn't have that problem, since the band members are good people- just keep it in mind in general.

he isn't at all. he is so nice. he doesn't even seem arrogant to me. bden just seems so hyper all the time. no one from the band is arrogant. maybe the band's former bass player, brent wilson. but from the current band members no one is.

no he's not arrogant. He just seems super hyper active, like he's got ADD or ADHD.

im not sure. my cousin told me the guitarist is nice. i guess he lives in the same condos that he does.
