If you're up north in an area that isn't hot. It's still green and pretty out. If you are somewhere where it's super hot- then no. Kids are still on summer vacation, so if you have family with children they'll be more able to come and plan for it.

August is a good month to get married in because the weather starts to change late August, early September. Of course, if you go for your honeymoon, it is tourist season.

I always thought so till my husband of 30 years left 2 years ago for his company tramp girlfriend. We had been married in August. Hope you have better luck with the month.
