Yes everybody has bad thoughts every now and than but The whole point is 2 TRY (it's hard) 2 keep your intentions Pure.
When a bad thought comes in your mind try reversing it by saying 2 yourself ..that is not nice.. I wish this person no harm I will luv this person inspite of their igornance, hatred, meaniness or whatever
Mind over matter is hard but it is necessary 2 keep your soul clean even though we are human and think like that sometimes GOD ask u 2 use your conscience and good will 2 overcome.
It is not as bad as speaking it because u had the self control 2 keep the thought inside your head...you thought before you spoke.

Evil grows in the dark.
If you really harbour some ill thought about someone, it's liable to rear it's ugly head at the most inappropriate of times.
At best, even managing to hold your tongue, you're being two-faced with yourself and that can't be good.

Therefore, not ridding yourself of those thoughts (working them out for yourself) nor meeting your distaste head on, tete a tete is probably worse than just coming out with it.

And there are no 'nice' people in this regard; just people
(even Ghandi and Mother Theresa likely had moments of ill thoughts).

Peace

Yes, I think all people have these thoughts (some more than others) some just choose to voice their thoughts/opinions, and no I don't think it's the same... some things are better left unsaid.

Nice people have bad thoughts about things but that is what makes them nice people.....they keep it to themselves.
To me, thinking and saying are both sinful but, we are humans and find it difficult to separate the two.

Yes, nice people think bad thoughts. It's when they keep them inside their own heads and don't act on them that keeps them nice.

Yes, but it isn't the same. Even if you dislike someone, you have the ability to control your impulses. To question your thought and exercise discretion.

It is our ability to discern that which should be acted upon, and that which should not be that determines our substantive conscience.

while some would sya just to think the sin is to sin, i disagree. if you think somethign bad, but say nothing, tahts self restraint and if people exercised that much more often, the world woudl be a better place.

You can't control your thoughts, but you can control your actions. The problem with ugly thoughts is they start to pervade other aspects of your life and your personality tends to sour as well. When "my evil twin" starts up, I tell her to SHUT UP.
