I would say to enjoy the gift of life too the fullest and say thank you once in a while. I don't think praying all day everyday is the answer, but neither is not praying at all. All I know is that if I gave someone a car I would rather see them out driving and enjoying it than to have them constantly thanking me for it. A thank you every now and then is always nice though.
