I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT CHRISTOPHER REEVES! I'm talking about George Reeves. The 1950's Superman. I know about Christopher Reeves falling off the horse.

I am not sure about Whether George Reeves did commit suicide or not..I think it's funny that all these DUH people were answering about Christopher Reeves though...haha too funny...

According to the Los Angeles Police Department report, between approximately 1:30 and 2AM on June 16, 1959, George Reeves died of a gunshot wound to the head in the upstairs bedroom of his Benedict Canyon home. He was 45 years old.

Hi. They thought it was suicide but there are rumors he may have been killed. The movie "Hollywoodland" with Ben Affleck is about George Reeves and what happened to him, you might watch that. I think he was dating someone else's wife so the murder rumor may be true.

There's controversy about whether or not he committed suicide. You could put your search engine to work, as I did, and look up info...apparently it's thought by many that he did kill himself but some disagree.
I didn't see any news articles in my brief search, just wikipedia and personal websites, none of which are greatly reliable as anyone can post anything on any of them.

It is so obvious he was murdered but the CSI stuff wasn't going on. Really bad investigations and cover ups in Hollywood back in the day. Do some research on him, he totally was so murdered!
