Does anyone listen to the band "Bread?"
i'm 14, and none of my friends have ever heard of them.
but i found them while listening to music with my dad...
because that's what he always used to listen to.
Anyone listen to them?
If so, what's your favorite song?

I remember listening to them. Some songs i remember - "Baby i'm a want you" and "It don't matter to me" Listen to some more of your Dad's old tunes. You might be surprised.

Bread was really popular around 1971, very "soft rock", sort of like Air Supply a few years ago. Chicago was a very popular band then also, ask your dad if he has anything from them. Sort of a mixture of rock, a little jazz, more upbeat than Bread.

Bread was one of the best bands of the late 60's early 70's,I love their songs,is hard to choose but I love Make it with you, If, Aubry, Sweet Surrender and most others.I was a teenager then,good of your dad to let you in on "old music",I did the same with my son.

Pleasant, harmless band. I like em & some of David Gates' solo work (eg: 'Guitar Man')
You might also dig America, Cat Stevens & The Carpenters.

great 60's early 70's mostly love songs. Yea, I have them in my music collection. Thats my era of music. The song "If" is my favorite.

My sister loved Bread when she was your age. I thought they had a good, soothing sound, but I was into different bands and don't know any of Bread's titles. (sorry)
If you like them, you'll probably take well to Jim Croce, too.

Wasn't the blond dude in Starsky & Hutch - the TV series, from Bread? YIKES!
Frankly hon, they weren't too popular 30 years ago.

if you like them,,try out jackson browne,,,,they are both soft rockers and jackson wrote some of the greatest songs,,,,,but bread had some great stuff too...baby im a want you is awesome.

yes i grew up on them...never thought of them as older but i guess they don't look the same as the album cover anymore...lol...
my favorite i would have to say is IF...or baby i'mma want you...
