If your not a virgin can a doctor determine it?

Cause i lied to my mom saying i was a virgin. and now she wants to take me to doctor to determine it. And i also want to know how can i prevent this

A doctor can do an internal exam to see if your hymen (membrane) is intact. However, there are lots of reasons other than sex that your hymen may not be intact (horseback riding, bicycle riding, etc).

Try talking to your Mom and be straight with her. It may be hard to do, but will be easier in the end. If you are sexually active, you do need to get to an OB/GYN to start your annual appointments (nothing scary at all about it).

yes a doctor can confirm it. just tell her that ur popped cause of a tampon u accidentally stuckup way too far or somethin. also if u go to a gyn. then u can sign a slip sayin ur dont wont ur mom tomknow anything they do or find out

Prevent it? You can't. But they can't tell your mother unless you sign a permission slip stating they can.

Of course the doctor can tell your hymen is broken.

You could have broken your hymen playing sports, so no doctor can be sure.

I don't think a dr. can tell. After I had my first pap smear my dr. asked me if I was sexually active. So, I don't think they can tell. If she could've she wouldn't have had a reason to ask.
