U.S. born.
That's it for qualifications.
Other than that, LOTS of money and backing from a political party.

You have to get a bunch of corporations to like you. Both the quantity of corporations, and the level of size/wealth of the corporations matter. Also, some corporations have extra power because of the industry they're in. (For example, corporations that own media like TV can influence votes too.)
Then, as long as you don't do anything VERY stupid in front of the camera, you'll get elected, if your corporations are more powerful.

Well first you need alllloootttt of money, a pretty face helps but not necessary, oh and you should have one of your relatives perferably a sibling be governer of a deciding state during election year. That helps.

well, how did anyone in high school become elected? well, whoever made the best bribes, had the most money (to give bribes and be popular), was funny, most likely an idiot, etc. with that you've got it (though you may not need the funny part...).
no, you need to go to Pat Robertson's law school...

there arent really any, i think you have to be 35, and have some politics expierence, but i dont think it matters much, its all about who has the most moeny and can advertise the most.
