You say you have physical problems, then why dont you let us know your problems? I am sure you will find a lot of alternative therapies which will work on you. Many symptoms, disorders and ailments are not cured medically. But there are other medicinal therapies which help. Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Unani are very good therapies.
Alternative therapies are Acupuncture, acupressure, reiki, reflexology, meditation, yoga, music, gems, iridology, pranic healing, and many more.
Spirituality is a personal issue and as such I will not touch it. To each his religion and spirituality is supreme. Spirituality can calm your mind to a certain extent. Physical problems need medical attention. This is where alternative medicines help.
When alternative medicines fail, conventional medicines is the only resort to well-being.

Most of the world's practitioners will tell you that your body is not capable and cannot do a lot for itself. But that's just bull. Your body is very resilient if given the right tools and nutrients. Since you haven't given details as to your condition, I can't comment on specific medicines but I can still help somewhat. Depending on your condition, I would suggest yoga and meditation, watching the documentary-type movie "The Secret" and looking into alternative therapies that specialize in crystal therapies, essential oils therapy, or massage therapy and/or raindrop therapy. Suggested reading regarding the mind/body connection are "Heal Your Body" by Louise Hay, and "Your Body Speaks Your Mind" by Shapiro are good to start with. From a nutritional stand point, you can find more info at www. healthscantechnique.com. I hope that helps!!! Ciao!!!!

You can always try the Wii! My brother really hurt his shoulder a few months back and hated his normal routines prescribed by the Dr. Looking around he decided to get the wii as an addition to his excercises and it had been a lot of fun- and his shoulder probably has regained strength quicker than if he didn't use the Wii because he plays it for hours a day... something he would not be doing otherwise. It is a ton of fun, and the entire family gets around the TV to play - whenever I head over to his house I can't stop playing it... great fun for the family, and really does help get you moving.

I googled 'boring physical therapy' and found the site below to look at...

You don't say what your health problems are, but I can recommend an immune booster that my family uses and is convinced by.

Immune Alert is made from an all-natural extract from baker's yeast (beta glucan), which has been proved to boost the immune system. This is from their literature:

Yeast beta glucan, the active ingredient in Immune Alert, enhances and supports key immune responses by: Priming the macrophages, neutrophils and natural killer cells to more effectively defend the body; Enhancing the cells’ ability to reach the site of an attack; Increasing these cells’ ability to eat foreign invaders.

Go to www.immunealert.com and get a free trial (you pay shipping). And read the research info they've got there too...you might just realize this is something that can really help you.

Cleansing my body worked great for me. (I had Hep C, and was bipolar to top it off). My body was able to heal itself of both and my blood tests have been clean of Hep C since 1998.

I used to own a health center and I also found that many clients would heal mind as the body cleaned out. It seemed the toxins/buildup of waste inside contributed to a lot of negative mental issues as well. When people cleanse, they feel happier, more energetic, less stressed and this in turn created more motivation to eat better and continue taking care of themselves, etc. In other words, a happier, healthier cycle was created.

But it does take work on your part to make the first steps. Keep the Faith - your answer will come.

Hospitals are businesses and their treatments are their incomes. They depend on insurance companies to pay so how they treat depends whether or not they will make money. That's reality. Don't get me wrong , there are a lot of good caring people working in hospitals but money is the bottom line. So should they provide those services, in my opinion, yes if they think there is merit to them. Should they be required to, no.

Most of these folks mean well, I'm sure, but the plain fact of the matter is that homeopathy, Reiki, Iridology, etc. just don't work. Some of them may believe their practice works, but it is a waste of money and time (both of which you have precious little of to waste, I suspect). If you are dying of an incurable illness then it is best to seek a philosophical answer. Buddhism (Zen especially) has a very positive, yet realistic, take on death and dying.

The Alt Med folks are either well meaning naifs, or vultures. They know which they are. Don't let your need for hope make a victim of you. They are only selling snake oil.

I have seen these types in action. My mother is dying of Hepatitis C and lupus. These vultures have made attempts to suck money from her and offer her vapid messages that a five-year-old would laugh at as being naive. She has more courage and dignity and happiness than anyone I know.

Shame on AltMed for such disingenuous practices!

I wish you the best. I hope you find the answers you need. Just know that if it seems too good to be true... it probably is.

More information on specific claims of these sad people can be researched here: www.quackwatch.org.

There is a dearth of information on Zen Buddhism. You might also find the works of Sartre of interest as well.

Homeopathy is the way to go. Listen to soul doctor. It's the only thing that will heal you completely and without side effects.
