Dear, Reader
If you as the reader had the choice, and you do, what would your choice be for the next president?
If you were a representative for the people close to you, who would the ideal president be?
What would you demand?
I ask these questions, because I always here it from many people coming from family, friends, or even the general public. They always argue amongst eachother asking "who would be the ideal president" or "how can we find a person like this" I would like to say that we need a great person of multiple traits, I do not believe it matters of race or sex, but of how devoted, tustworthy, hardworking, and optimistic this person is. I am not asking you as the reader to agree with me, as this is only my opinion. But that is all we have besides fact isnt it?
What I am asking of you all is to tell me of your ideal person, and hopefully the candidates for the 2008 election are reading...

The candidates we have running for President should be running for Village Idiot. It is sad that in a country as great as ours, the only people we have running for the office are morons.

I think Ron Paul is pretty much the ideal. He doesn't have a rock-star personality, but I don't want another frat-boy president. Instead, I want someone who will get us out of Iraq as respectfully as possible, and pursue Osama in Afghanistan. I also want someone who takes the immigration problem seriously, and will work to reform the system while insisting that no illegal immigrant get a free ride. I also like the fact that he's been a medical doctor in the private sector, which gives him an understanding not only of healthcare, which needs reform, but of business. Finally, I love the fact that he has such a complete understanding of economics and inflation, because I'm convinced that's going to be critically important in the next term, because we have some major economic crises coming.

Ron Paul.
He doesn't mince words or dance around a question. You are clear on where he stands. Everyone else seems to have a political agenda or be in someones back pocket. I don't at ALL feel this from Ron Paul. Many of my family and friends are in agreement. I think he is the answer to "how can we find a person like this".

I believe the best candidate for President by a large margin is Ron Paul. I believe the most serious problems facing our country are at least partially caused by the failure of our representatives to honor their oath of office to support the Constitution.
Ron Paul has clearly shown by his voting record that he has the integrity to vote using the founding principles of this country instead of to obtain political power.
He's my choice for 2008.
