Does it really work? If so, is it possible to learned?

Not really --- it only works with people who are suggestible. In other words, if you are a sensible individual, no it does not work! However, it can work merely as a form of relaxation. You won't be able to make a person act like a monkey or command them to do what you order unless as said before, they are gullible and suggestible.

So having said that, your second question is answered --- no it cannot be learnt.

Hypnosis only works on about thirty percent of the population. Basically, those who believe they can be hypnotized, will be, disbelievers will not. The movies make it look more grand than it really is in life.

Hypnotism can be learned through the study of psychology.
